The Amazon Rainforest Expedition (Peru)

Tour Information

The Amazon rainforest is one of the last untouched places on Earth, teeming with life stories of thousands of animal species. I’ve been fascinated by this incredible ecosystem since childhood, devouring documentaries and dreaming of one day exploring its diverse landscapes, home to some of the most fearsome yet beautiful creatures.

My own adventure in the Amazon became a reality when I stayed for 4 days at a riverside lodge, nestled along a remote tributary of the Amazon River, just a boat ride away from Iquitos.

During my 3-night stay, I ticked off countless dreams: learning about different species of pythons, caimans, spiders, and much more. Our guide, César, was both incredibly knowledgeable and entertaining, offering deep insights into the region’s wildlife, plants, and insects — and throwing in a joke or two when needed.

The lodge exceeded all expectations. Despite its remote location, the food was exceptional, and the accommodations were cozy with perfectly fitted nets. The activities offered a great mix, keeping us constantly engaged and immersed in the Amazon experience. From day treks to night boat expeditions, there was always something exciting to look forward to.
